Brake calipers can be painted either while installed or after removal.
Sand the surface using 240–360 grit sandpaper to remove rust and ensure good paint adhesion.
Degrease the surface, for example, using K2 Brake Cleaner.
If painting the calipers without removing them, carefully mask off the surrounding components.
Shake the container for 1 minute before use.
Apply 2–3 coats, allowing 10 minutes between each. Ensure that friction surfaces, brake lines, and moving parts of the brake system are not covered with paint.
After application, allow 30–60 minutes for the paint to dry completely.
The paint reaches full cure after 12 hours at a temperature of 20°C.
