    Moisture-cured, 1-part, thixotropic alkoxy silicone flange sealant with great resistance to oil and joint movement. Offers a rapid skin-over time.
    For an effective, convenient alternative to pre-cut gaskets, choose LOCTITE® SI 5970. This 1-part alkoxy silicone sealant has been designed specifically for gasketing applications where on line, low pressure quality control tests need to be conducted before the product begins to cure. Ideal for stamped sheet metal covers (timing covers and oil sumps) where you need good oil resistance and the ability to withstand high joint-movement.
